Smart Dog® Tater Tot Skewers
1 Pack Lightlife® Smart Dogs®
1 pound bag of frozen tater tots (thawed)
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and black pepper or seasoning of your choice
Ketchup and mustard for dipping
Preheat your grill to a high heat.
Slice the Smart Dogs® into three diagonal pieces. Take a long metal skewer and thread one of those pieces on to the base of the skewer. Next add a tater tot being careful not to tear it. Repeat this process until the skewer is completely filled. Once all of the skewers are ready to grill, brush them on one side with the olive oil. Season each one and place onto your hot grill. Grill for about 1-2 minutes and then turn them over and repeat. They will be done when you start to see the Smart Dogs® blister.
Serve at once with the ketchup and mustard for dipping.

I tried Lightlife Smart dogs and was quite happy with them. The texture was acceptable as that of a hot dog with taste I truly enjoyed. I would definitely recommend these Lightlife smart dogs to my friends or anyone looking for a veggie dog.
Absolutely floored me how these veggie dogs can taste so good. I was very suspicious of the taste because I have had other veggie dogs and they were really bad. But these really are good. I even tricked my family into thinking they were regular hot dogs.
they taste so good , take them with you when you tale gate, so delicious, I am very hard to please so when i say these are good they are. I will recommend to all
These veggie hot dogs are a good alternative to meat hot dogs. They don't taste exactly the same as "real" hot dogs, but that is to be expected from a vegan product. Overall, I would recommend these if you're looking for a non-meat product.
They were very hard to find in stores, and quite expensive. My family and I cooked some of these for a cookout. While the taste and texture are comparable to a beef hot dog, the flavor was nothing of the such. You can tell that it would made with vegetables. I would not buy this again, but if I ever became vegan/vegetarian, i would buy these again.
