What You’ll Be Doing

As our Product Designer, you'll become an advocate for our natural/organic brand customers (think of any brands at Whole Foods) and our community of influencers by knowing them and their needs inside out. You will understand our overall business needs and product requirements, and transform that understanding into user-focused intuitive products and interfaces for mobile and web. 

This is the first dedicated Product Designer role at Social Nature, so this is a great opportunity for someone with experience to own it, make a big impact, and grow with the company!

Responsibilities Include

  • Concept, prototype, design and present solutions that solve both business and user problems and deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Create sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, and mockups of features serving different user segments.

  • Designing user experiences from low-fidelity sketches to hi-fidelity pixel-perfect mockup

  • Use and leverage metrics and A/B tests to drive product design and measure product success.

  • Monitor new product features to establish benchmarks and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and analysis.

  • Design our sales/marketing materials (you’ll be the most design focused individual on our team and it’s all hands on deck here!).

  • Keep up to date with UX and Design trends, get inspired by what others are doing in the field and bring creative ideas with you into the office.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years related work experience in UX or interactive design. 

  • A design degree or relevant experience with software platform and/or application design.

  • Experience with responsive design especially in a framework such as Foundation.

  • Proficient in web design, typography, colour, layout and an awareness of graphic design.

  • Experience with modern tools like Sketch and Invision is an asset. 

  • Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines and be accountable for deliverables.

We’re looking for an experienced Demand Generation Specialist to join our sales/marketing team in Vancouver, BC to help drive awareness of our Influencer marketing solution and build pipeline for our growing sales team.

This role is part science and part art, and is ideal for people who take an analytical approach to content marketing; optimizing copy and campaigns for conversions, whether it's building landing pages, developing email campaigns, or ensuring our blog ranks for search results.

You’ll be responsible for developing a cohesive B-to-B inbound marketing strategy to engage new and current customers in our services via content marketing, social media marketing, search engine optimization and email automation strategies. Your success will be measured by your ability to drive new and organic revenue through lead generation initiatives. Responsibilities Include

  • Build and scale our demand generation program from the ground up. 
  • Develop lead generation strategies through organic and inbound channels to nurture leads, drive adoption and accelerate growth in a predictable and scalable manner.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a key tactical role that requires creative and analytical thinking. It’s a great opportunity if you have a couple years B2C marketing experience so that you can hit the ground running and help us scale our campaign operations. Our goal is for you to grow with us!

You understand that the key to a successful campaign is recruiting the right mix of Influencers and are excited to be our resident campaign recruitment strategist. You will be recruiting members from our influencer community and engaging them in campaign specific activities (e.g. write a review, submit a survey, post a photo, create a video). Your primary marketing channel will be email, but you will also be testing new channels like Facebook Messenger and SMS to get the best conversions. As the driving force behind our influencer marketing campaigns, you care about the outcomes and are constantly monitoring the campaign performance to ensure they meet our client’s goals, on time and on budget.

A big focus for our next year is automating our campaign operations. This is an opportunity for you to optimize each stage of our influencer marketing campaigns, share your best practices with the product team, and help us scale from 30 to 100 campaigns per quarter!

Qualifications

  • Suggested minimum of 2 years experience in email marketing, preferably in a B2C environment.
  • Experience with email best practices including A/B testing, reporting, workflow creation, automation, personalization, segmentation, list management, deliverability (we use Mailchimp).
  • Experience crafting and targeting messages for specific audiences and demonstrated ability to convert them.
  • Track, analyze, leverage, and present data from campaign marketing efforts while putting into action opportunities for improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

A Senior Software Engineer is a development leader who is equally comfortable architecting reliable applications as they are digging into tough problems in a Linux shell and getting their hands into sprawling C# code.

This position is critical to the growth of the company. Not only will you see your work having a direct impact on the bottom line, you will be a main leadership player in the continued rocket trajectory of a successful, profitable company that is both leading the industry and doing good in the world.

Reporting to the CTO and collaborating with your fellow developers, a product designer, and the rest of the Social Nature team, your day-to-day will include:

  • The creation of user-facing websites using the latest and best available cross-platform .NET tools

  • Owning the overall reliability and performance of our customer-facing web application and back-office suite

  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends and best practices, introducing them to your workflow

  • Leading the requirements gathering and workflow decision-making process for the team

  • Writing testable code using TDD methods; mentoring others to do the same

  • A/B testing shipped features to establish data baselines and measure performance

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Have a minimum of 7 years programming experience with MVC web applications

  • Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript

  • Understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery, configuration automation and build systems

  • Have used a source control system (e.g. Git) in a team environment

  • Have shipped customer-facing websites or mobile apps

  • Knowledge of command-line Linux administration (we make full use AWS and love our Cloud infrastructure)
