Where to Buy

I loved the dal. I tried 2 flavors. The green peas, spinach and coconut milk. It was packed with flavor. It didn't taste like the more traditional dals that I was use to but it was flavorful and delicious. The other one I tried was the red bean, butternut squash and coconut milk. This one is a family favorite. It was packed with flavor. Now that we've tried these 2 we're looking forward to trying all the others. These will now be part of our regular meals.

I thought this was extremely flavorful and the nutritional values were great. I had never had this before so I was a first timer. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was.

I received a voucher from Social Nature to try this Dal product from May Kaimal. I bought the red lentil butternut squash coconut variety, and prepared it as directed. It took only a few minutes to heat up in a pan, like soup, and I put some over jasmine rice. Really delicious! It was nicely spiced, but not overwhelmingly hot, with a subtle sweetness from the coconut and squash. I also bought some Maya Kaimal Naan Chips to go on the side, providing some crunchy texture as a finishing touch. I plan to keep this on hand for a hearty, quick meal when there is no time to cook.

I love Indian food! This one was great and easy to make. I got the red lentil and butternut squash flavor and it was really filling on its own. I was happy to have it in my cupboard for a quick dinner after starving at work all day. Good price point too. Flavors were spicy but not too spicy.
