Kale Artichoke Yogurt Dip
This fresh version is a playful twist on traditional artichoke dip, without the heaviness of mayonnaise and melted cheese, but with superb and complex flavors nonetheless. Chopped kale adds leafy green nutrition to the classic combo of yogurt, lemon and garlic. Try this at your next party or potluck—we promise your guests will devour it!
Prep Time: 20 minutes
4 cups kale, chopped
1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained well and chopped
3 green onions, thinly sliced
2 tsp. garlic, microplaned
2 cups Redwood Hill Farm plain goat milk yogurt
1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. freshly squeezed lemon juice
If desired, refrigerate dip for at least one hour, to allow flavors to develop, or serve immediately. try serving the dip in a bread bowl, which creates a beautiful and colorful contrast, and to accompany with crackers, corn chips and fresh vegetable sticks.
I thought this yogurt was great! It was very creamy but still flavorful and tangy. It is also so nice to have a healthy product from ethically and sustainably raised goats. It's definitely something I could see myself eating on a regular basis. My local Sprouts was only carrying the plain yogurt when I was there, so I got two of those to play around with. I really liked mixing it with some rosewater, pistachios, and honey for a complete breakfast.
I can't say enough about Goat Milk Yogurt, and Redwood Hill Farms knows what they are doing. I love the flavors and creaminess, and I love how much kinder goat milk is on our stomachs than cows milk. I am so glad that they are organic and readily available. I highly recommend Redwood Hill Farms products.
I've never tried goat milk, let alone a goat milk yogurt, but I was pleasantly surprised by Redwood Hill Farm goat milk yogurt. The texture is very smooth and the strawberry flavor in particular had just the right amount of fruit in it. I like it but don't think I will be purchasing this in the future.
Goat Milk Yogurt is quite tasty and I was pleasantly surprise of how creamy and delicious it was. I had been a consumer of mostly cow based products and recently ventured into alternative milk products such as coconut milk, soy and nut based milk products. I found that the Goat Milk Yogurt was creamy and flavorful. I like that how well it the flavor blended when stirred and that it's filled with loads of probotics. The goat milk yogurt comes in five delicious flavors including blueberry, vanilla strawberry, plan and apricot mango. It has a nice mild flavor that can be combined with other toppings if you'd like
I love mixing granola into my yogurt so that's what I did with this goal milk yogurt. It definitely has a different flavor and texture than regular yogurt. There is a bit of an aftertaste that I wasn't too keen on. I love the benefits of this yogurt but not sure I would purchase it regularly. Some people may love the flavor and texture, but it just wasn't for me.
