We’re a social product sampling community that helps you #trynatural.

How do you decide what products to feature?

Our mission is to inspire people to #trynatural. All of the products we promote are tried and tested by our team (I know, hard life right!) and must meet our core values of: cares for the planet, respects animals rights, benefits the community, and promotes wellness. Why is it FREE? What’s the catch?

We help brands get in front of people that are interested in their products. Brands are interested in your product feedback and hope that you’ll share what you love with your friends on social media through reviews and coupons. It’s free because it should be free. Now get out there and #trynatural.

Will I get spam?

No, we don’t sell your info. The only emails you’ll receive from us will be related to helping you #trynatural:

  • Invitations to try FREE natural products
  • Special offers for natural products (discounts, contests)
  • Natural lifestyle content (recipes, tips and more!)

You can update your subscription preferences anytime.

What do you do with my personal information?

We only use this info to match you to the right products. Any information we share with our brand partners is in aggregate so it’s not personally identifiable.

I am outside Canada & the USA, can I sign up?

Sorry, we currently only ship to Canada and the USA. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter to stay up-to-date on new developments.

Want It

What does it mean when I want something?

Wanting something lets us know that you’re interested in trying the product. It helps us do a better job of getting you the products you want. We can’t guarantee that you’ll get the product, but you can bet we’ll definitely try!

The products you “want” will show up as “wanted” in your account. We’ll notify you by email if you’re one of the lucky ones who gets to try it for free.

If I want something, will I get something?

Not everyone that wants something gets something. We’ll notify you by email if you’re one of the lucky ones who gets to try it for free. On average our brand partners allocate 200-5,000 products to give away for free plus coupons for those who wanted to try their product, but didn’t qualify for the free product - so at the end of the day everyone wins!

I wanted something months ago, and still haven’t received an email inviting me to try it.

If it’s still in the “want it” stage then we’re still recruiting people for the campaign, as we ship all the samples at once. You can help us by sharing the sample with your friends and inviting them to try it!

If you wanted it, but the campaign is closed, then unfortunately we ran out of samples. Often our brand partners will offer exclusive coupons to everyone that wanted their products, so everyone still wins!

How do you decide who gets FREE products?

Our selection criteria is no secret. Here’s how we choose who gets what:

Your lifestyle: For example, we wouldn’t invite you to a baby food campaign if you don’t have a baby, nor would we think you’d like to chow down on dog food if you don’t have a dog.

Your interests: Just because you’re a woman doesn’t mean you love beauty. We ask you survey questions to match you to products that are right for you.

Where you live: We work with local brands and established national brands. This means that some brands are only available at certain stores or in certain geographic regions.

Brand partner goals: Occasionally our brand partners have specific selection criteria when they offer free trials of their product. If so, there might be a couple quick questions that help us dig deeper on your lifestyle and shopping habits.

Your level of engagement: We’re a social sampling community so we reward engagement. In order to get invited to more campaigns ensure that you’ve submitted a product review to Social Nature. You’ll get priority access to campaigns and be entered to win monthly prizes if you share your review with friends on social media. Remember to tag us @socialnature and use our hashtag #trynatural so we can reward your efforts.

How often do you add new free products?

We add new products every week and if you’ve opt-ed in to receive our exclusive invitations by email then you’ll be the first to know about new products!

If you haven’t opted-in to receive these notification emails, login to your account and update your profile email settings so that you receive these exclusive invitations. You can also follow us on Facebook or Twitter to stay up-to-date on new offers.

First check your spam filter. We send invitations from mail@socialnature.com to people that want products. You can also login to your account to see if you have any invitations.

Try It

I received an email telling me I’m invited to try a product for FREE, now what?

Invitations are distributed on a first come, first served basis so you need to act right away! If you wait too long to accept the invitation may expire.

If you can’t find the email, login to your account as your invite can also be found under the tab My Products. Accept the invite by following the instructions to confirm your shipping address.

Do I have to pay for shipping?

Nope!

How long will it take for my free product to arrive?

Once you have accepted your invite, it will take between 4-6 weeks for your product to arrive. You can check the status of your shipment in your account anytime under the tab My Products.

Product Statuses Defined:

  • Shipment Pending: You are confirmed to get your free product but it isn't in the mail yet. This status will show while our warehouse prepares the shipment.
  • Shipped: We've mailed the product and it should reach you soon. This status may show for 5-10 business days, depending on where you are located and how long it takes to reach you.
My free product has arrived, now what?

First enjoy your product sample! Then when you’re ready to share your experience, login to to your Social Nature account and submit your product review.

When do I have to write my review?

Unless otherwise specified, please review the product within 1-2 weeks of receiving it.

How do I get invited to try more FREE products?
  1. Be an engaged memberMembers are given priority for new products, if after you receive a free product, you share a genuine product review on SocialNature.com. If you had a positive experience we hope that you’ll share your product review with your friends, fans and followers on social media! Remember to tag us @socialnature and use our hashtag #trynatural so we can reward your efforts with more free products and other exclusive offers!
  2. Tell us what you want to tryWanting something lets us know that you’re interested in trying the product. It helps us do a better job of getting you the products you want. We can’t guarantee that you’ll get the product, but you can bet we’ll definitely try!
  3. Opt-in to receive exclusive invitationsWe add new products to our platform every week and if you’ve opt-ed in to receive our exclusive invitations by email then you’ll be the first to know about new products!If you haven’t opted-in to receive these emails, login to your account and update your profile email settings so that you receive these exclusive invitations. You can also follow us on Facebook or Twitter to stay up-to-date on new offers.

Do I have to write a product review?

Our brand partners provide us with FREE products in exchange for product feedback and exposure. So if we can’t deliver on this promise that unfortunately means no more free products.

We’re interested in honest reviews and do our best to match you to produces that we hope you’ll love. Your postings must reflect your actual experience, honest opinions, findings, and beliefs and must not be misleading, deceptive, or defamatory in any way. Be the first to correct your own mistakes, but don't alter previous posts without indicating that you have done so.

Do I need to disclose that I got the product for FREE?

Yes, in the spirit of authentic buzz mention that you got the product free from either Social Nature or the brand. On social media you can include the disclosure hashtag #gotitfree or if you’re posting to a site that doesn’t allow hash tags, just be sure to mention at some point that either the brand or Social Nature gave you the product for free.

What do you do with my review?

We share your review on SocialNature.com to help our community make greener choices. Your product reviews are also shared with the company sponsoring the product you tried (our brand partners). No personal identifying information is shared, just your review, first name and last initial. Our brand partners use the reviews to improve their products and they also have permission to use the reviews on their own media channels.

Do I have to post my review to social media?

We’re a social sampling community, which means we like to try products and share what we love with our friends. We give you several options for sharing including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and more. We do our best to match you to products, you’ll love, but on the off chance you didn’t like the product, you obviously don’t need to recommend it to your friends or followers.

How do I share my review on social media?

Share options are activated when you write your review on our platform. Sharing through our platform ensures your sharing is tracked and rewarded.

You’ll receive instructions with how to review and share when you receive your free product as well as some friendly email reminders from us.

If you choose to share outside of our platform (e.g. on Instagram), remember to tag us @socialnature and use our hashtag #trynatural as well as the disclosure hashtag #gotitfree so we can reward your efforts with more free products and other exclusive offers!

Do I get rewards for sharing my review with friends?

Yes! We’re a social product sampling community so we reward engagement. Sharing can be as simple as sharing your product review on social media or you can get creative with pictures, videos or blog posts! 

If you share outside of our platform, please tag @socialnature and use our hashtag #trynatural so we can track and reward your shares. Also remember to use the disclosure hashtag #gotitfree.
