Social Nature is a product discovery platform for natural and organic goods. Members activate offers from participating brands, buy those products at grocery and natural-food retailers across the US and Canada, upload a photo of their receipt, and receive cashback on verified purchases. Brands use Social Nature to launch new products and collect first-party reviews from real shoppers.

## How It Works

1. Browse available offers on natural, organic, and clean products.
2. Activate an offer to add it to your shopping list.
3. Buy the product at any participating retailer in the US or Canada.
4. Upload a photo of your receipt.
5. Receive cashback once the receipt is validated, typically within about 24 hours of validation.

Activating an offer is free. There is no membership fee, no coupon to print, and no code to enter at checkout — the rebate is paid after the fact against the receipt.

## Reviews

Every review on Social Nature comes from a verified purchase — a shopper who uploaded a receipt for the product they are reviewing. Reviews include a star rating, title, body, the variety tried, and the date published. A product page shows its aggregate rating, the distribution across one to five stars, and the share of reviewers who would buy the product again.

Reviews are paginated at 10 per page via `?reviews=N` on the product's own URL. A product with several hundred reviews has all of them at real, linked URLs; none is behind a button or an infinite scroll.

## Terminology

- **Offer** — a cashback deal on one product, funded by its brand, valid at a defined set of retailers for a defined period.
- **Activation** — a member adding an offer to their shopping list. Required before the receipt will be matched to it.
- **Redemption** — a validated receipt that resulted in cashback for an activated offer.
- **Variety** — a specific flavour, size, or SKU of a product. Reviews and offers can be scoped to one.
